Every child is different, and every child learns in a different way. Here at Robotic Explorers, our mission is to provide experiential learning so students experiment, make mistakes, discover and learn. Students ages 6 to 17 get hands on experience with robotics, programming, structural and mechanical design and team building. Beginners practice various building techniques with traditional LEGO. Advanced participants create functional robots and are selected to compete in regional robotics competitions.
With our weekly labs, camps, workshops, birthday parties and competition programs we encourage young minds to explore the world of science with forward thinking and constructive problem solving. Located in Roswell, Georgia, our 5,000 sq. ft. engineering lab is where you will find students being challenged and motivated while having fun in an educational environment.

Engineering Exploration Lab
Creativity is key in the lab where ages 6 – 17 hone their design, building and computer programming skills. LEGO In Motion, LEGO WeDo, LEGO Mindstorms, Design Lab, and 3D Creation Lab are offered throughout the school year. Java Programming for Robots and CAD 3D Design are seasonal programs. All engineering labs feature Robotic Explorers curriculum and designs.
Robotic Explorers School Workshops
Let’s get those models moving! Young builders use gears, pulleys, wheels an axles to animate models and make connections with real-world machines. Our Workshop STEM field trip program gives students the building blocks to design machines of their own.
Bring Robotic Explorers to your school
Robotic Explorers participates in United States Foundation for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, (FIRST) programs. FIRST provides an opportunity for students 6 through 17 to explore and conquer real-world challenges through its Jr. FLL, FLL and FTC programs. At Robotic Explorers, these team experiences provide a testing ground for the design, building, programming, strategy and entrepreneurial skills practiced in our training programs.
This hands-on program is designed to capture young children’s inherent curiosity and direct it towards discovering the possibilities of improving the world around them. Robotic Explorers team members receive simple machines and mechanisms training using traditional LEGO and LEGO WeDo robotics. Team experiences are offered in the fall and spring.
FLL features an autonomous robot challenge, real-world research project and team activities guided by FLL Core Values. Robotic Explorers team members develop their building and programming skills through hands-on lessons and design challenges in the Practicum lab. The practicum program combines physics, mechanics, system design and computer programming.
FTC is about teaching students the value of hard work, innovation and creativity. Team members have the opportunity to build robots, learn computer programming and Computer-Aided Design and compete against other teams at the local, regional and national level! Professional Mentors and corporate sponsors support the team in accomplishing its competition and outreach goals each season.

Amazing Machines Camp – Ages 6 to 8
Campers will use LEGO building elements to complete the building projects featured each camp week. LEGO WeDo robotics projects feature original Robotic Explorers designs. Campers work independently and at their own pace so that beginner and experienced builders can have a fun camp experience while building skills.
- LEGO Mindstorms Camp – Ages 9 – 12
Campers will build and modify and LEGO Mindstorms robotic vehicle that can perform the mission tasks for each week challenge. Campers work independently and at their own pace so that beginner and experienced builders and programmers can have a fun camp experience while developing skill.
